Bio: Former homeschooling Mom - my children all grew up! Art major in college which has taken root in quilt making. Prefer making scrap quilts which results in more and more scraps! Cooking is a past time to me, not a chore. Recently took on the challenge of learning to bake gluten-free in order to keep my gluten-intolerant husband healthy. A Catholic all my life and planning to remain so. I began blogging under Crazy Quilts, Catholics and Cookies since January 28, 2009 through another site under Crazy Quilts, Catholics, and Cookies but decided to move to WordPress for its many options and ease of use.

  1. Dear bbarthelette1984, I would like to have your permission to use the picture you have in the blog about the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Although I have a brother who lives in Berlin, he is too disabled to have gone to the fall of the wall. I will definitately give you photo credit,

    1. Hi, Lynn:
Thank you for checking out my blog. I used a picture from ‘images’ so imagine you can find it under Google, Yahoo or other such sites under images. No credit required. My mother was actually in Europe at that time but didn’t make it to the fall of the wall which would have meant a lot to her as her mother had been living in East Germany since the Russian takeover. Sadly, she didn’t live to see the day.
      God bless,
