Nobody talks about the Cristero Persecution in Mexico – or how it was fomented and financed by anti-clerical American groups and politicians. So glad he’s gotten the notice he deserved. My grandparents, Mom, and uncles all got involved in that struggle against the American Masons and Mexican atheists and communists… they would transport and sneak priests in and out of small towns so people could be baptized, married, and buried. Under penalty of death, they hid priests and rectors in their home until “moving day”. They say the “Cristero War” ended in 1926… but my family was with the underground Church until the late 30’s.
