Well, Julianna has taught Buster to sit on command . . . except when he doesn’t want to and he doesn’t respond to ‘kitty kitty kitty’ but comes immediately when you call ‘Buster!’ I had a friend who was a first-time cat owner and said that she didn’t worry about the cat getting on the kitchen counters at night. It took me a long time to stop laughing and suggested she sprinkle some flour or cornstarch on the counter and see how many kitty prints she finds in the morning!

    1. We take the idea of actually training a cat with more than a few grains of salt! They love you except when they don’t. They adore the current cat food today and try to bury it the next day. And no surface is safe from their inspection! My husband found a cat whisker on the counter and tried to place blame but they both have white whiskers! They are a lot of fun, however!
